What counts as a project?
A project is an isolated Supabase backend on your instance: its own Postgres database, API URL, anon and service-role keys, auth users, storage buckets and Edge Functions. All projects share your instance’s CPU and RAM and your plan’s database, storage and egress quotas.
What does “unlimited Auth MAUs” actually mean?
Every plan — including Builder — includes unlimited monthly active users for Supabase Auth, plus unlimited Realtime connections, Edge Function invocations and basic MFA. There are no per-MAU charges, no tiered limits and no overage fees for them.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Switch plans any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Your projects and data are preserved.
What happens if I exceed a quota?
We never shut down your instance. Usage is tracked every hour; you’ll get alerts at 80%, 90% and 100% of each quota, and any overage is added to your next invoice at the rates above.
How is SupaHost different from self-hosting Supabase?
You get the same open-source stack with none of the ops: we provision the VM, run Supabase, handle backups, monitoring, SSL, custom domains and updates. Self-hosted control with managed convenience.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to the plan’s features.
What regions are available?
Choose a region when you create your instance: US Central, US West, US East, Belgium, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Sydney or Tokyo. Enterprise plans can request additional regions.
